Cheerful Giver💒

6 Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
7 Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.
II Corinthians 9:6-8
People always consider this passage as monetary or sending some items to the orphanages and hospitals but, our services to the Kingdom of God and all people is giving. Therefore, it is important to do it cheerfully. If we sing, it should be cheerfully, if we pray (intercessors) it should be cheerfully, if we clean the church auditorium, it should be cheerfully, if we are in positions in church, it should be handled cheerfully.
In our missions of evangelism, song ministration and others, it must be done cheerfully for God. We must also be cheerful; doing so for others in teaching them the salvation message, serving them, listening to their challenges and sharing Jesus with them to help overcome them. Jesus Christ is the only way.
Jesus said, “if you do it for your brother, you do so for me and vice versa.” This confirms the need to cheerfully do for the Lord in all our steps in life and also for our neighbours as we will cheerfully do for one another.
23 And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,
24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
25 But he who does wrong will receive again for the wrong that he has done…
– Colossians 3:23-25
Let us pray this day that God will put in us a cheerful attitude towards all our services to the Kingdom of God and His people, but remember, God first!

“Like the strong fruitful tree, Let us spread and share ourselves in service to the Kingdom of God and spread the salvation message wherever the wind sails us. God is our strength.”
